Clause 16.1

The Supervisor

Purpose

The Supervisor ensures that the works are in accordance with the Works Information and certifies Completion.

Practical Application

The Supervisor's role is quality assurance. They issue Defect Certificates and test results.

Common Pitfalls

The Supervisor and PM are separate roles. The same person may hold both roles if stated in the Contract Data.
