Clause 36.1

Take Over

Purpose

The Employer takes over the works. The Contractor gives access for Employer's work.

Practical Application

Take over typically follows Completion. The Employer may use the works before Final Completion.

Common Pitfalls

Partial take over may affect insurance and risk allocation. Specify partial take over in the Works Information.
