The Adjudicator

Purpose

The Adjudicator is named in the Contract Data. Disputes are referred to the Adjudicator for decision.

Practical Application

Adjudication is the primary dispute resolution method. The decision is binding unless later revised.

Common Pitfalls

Ensure the Adjudicator has NEC4 experience before appointment. A named Adjudicator should confirm availability.
