Clause 27.1

Access to the Site

Purpose

The Employer provides access to the Site on the starting date. The Contractor has access for as long as needed.

Practical Application

Site access is an Employer obligation. Delayed access may be a CE under 60.1.

Common Pitfalls

Access conditions (how much, when, with what restrictions) should be clearly defined in the Works Information.
