Clause 41.1

Notification of Defects

Purpose

The Supervisor notifies the Contractor of defects.

Practical Application

Defects are matters not in accordance with the Works Information. The Contractor corrects them.

Common Pitfalls

Defect correction is at the Contractor's own cost unless the defect is due to an Employer risk or PM instruction.
