Contractor's Share — Saving or Excess (Option D)
Under Option D, if the Price for Work Done to Date is less than the Total of the Prices, the Contractor is paid its share of the saving. If the Price for Work Done to Date is greater than the Total of the Prices, the Contractor pays its share of the excess.
Same mechanism as Option C but based on the Bill of Quantities target. The Contractor's Share adjusts the final account to reflect cost efficiency relative to the target.
Under Option D, the Bill of Quantities re-measurement can affect the target. Changes in quantities that are not CEs still affect the final total of the Prices and therefore the share calculation.
