Deemed Acceptance

Purpose

If the PM does not reply within the reply period, the Contractor's submission is treated as accepted.

Practical Application

This applies to quotations, programmes, and other submissions requiring PM acceptance. The Contractor benefits from PM inaction.

Common Pitfalls

Do not rely on deemed acceptance for CE notifications under 61.3 — those have separate, stricter rules.
