Notification by Contractor
The Contractor notifies the PM of a CE within eight weeks of becoming aware. Late notification is a complete bar to entitlement.
This is the most common procedural trap. The period runs from awareness of the event, not from when full impacts are known.
EIGHT WEEKS IS A DEADLINE. Failure = complete loss of entitlement. Notify early, even without full details.
