Defects — Correction Period
The Contractor corrects each notified defect before the end of the defect correction period. The period ends at the later of the date stated in the Contract Data or four weeks after Completion.
The defect correction period runs from Completion. All notified defects must be corrected within this window to avoid Employer remedy.
If the defect is urgent or affects safety, the Contractor must correct it immediately regardless of the correction period. The PM may instruct immediate correction of critical defects.
