CE — Other Events

Purpose

Events which are stated in the Contract Data as being compensation events. The parties may agree additional CE triggers specific to the project.

Practical Application

Project-specific CEs are added in the Contract Data. They broaden the CE list beyond the standard events in 60.1.

Common Pitfalls

Additional CEs must be clearly drafted. Vague or ambiguous additional CE clauses cause disputes over whether a particular event qualifies.
