CE — Other Compensation

Purpose

Any other event stated in the Contract Data or Works Information as a compensation event. This allows complete flexibility for project-specific additions.

Practical Application

The Works Information or Contract Data may specify additional compensation events unique to the project. Review these carefully at tender stage.

Common Pitfalls

Additional CEs broaden the Contractor's entitlement but also increase the Employer's cost risk. Both parties should carefully consider the implications of additional CEs before contract signature.
