CE — Instruction Changing the Works Information

Purpose

The PM gives an instruction to change the Works Information. This is the most common CE type.

Practical Application

Any PM instruction that changes scope, specification, sequence, or constraints is a CE.

Common Pitfalls

Verbal instructions on site may constitute a change. Confirm all verbal instructions in writing promptly.
