CE — Employer's Risks
An event occurs which is an Employer's risk as described in clause 80.1. These include war, radioactive contamination, and other specified events outside the Contractor's control.
The Contractor notifies the PM when an Employer's risk event occurs. The event is assessed as a CE for both time and cost impacts.
Employer's risks are often insured separately. The Contractor should check whether insurance covers the event and notify its insurer promptly.
