Equipment — Hired
Equipment brought on to Site under a hire agreement remains the property of the hiring company. The Employer's title to the works does not apply to hired equipment.
Hired equipment is identified in the Contractor's Equipment register. The Contractor ensures hire agreements permit the equipment to be on Site.
If the Contractor defaults on hire payments, the hiring company may remove equipment from Site. This could delay the works and is the Contractor's risk.
