Clause 24.2

Working with Others — Cooperation

Purpose

The Contractor and others working on the project cooperate with each other. The PM may instruct the Contractor to change its working arrangements to facilitate cooperation.

Practical Application

Cooperation obligations extend to sharing access, sequencing work, and coordinating deliveries. The PM can instruct changes to improve coordination.

Common Pitfalls

The cost of complying with a cooperation instruction from the PM may be a CE if it changes the Works Information. Distinguish between routine coordination and instructed changes.
