Tests — Retesting
If a test or inspection shows that any work or equipment does not conform to the Works Information, retesting is carried out after correction.
The Contractor corrects the non-conformance and notifies the Supervisor. The Supervisor then repeats the test to confirm compliance.
The cost of retesting is borne by the Contractor unless the original failure was caused by an Employer risk or PM instruction. Multiple retest failures may indicate systemic quality issues.
