Tests — Costs
The Contractor bears the cost of tests and inspections required by the Works Information. The Employer bears the cost of additional tests ordered by the Supervisor unless the work was found not to conform.
Routine compliance testing under the Works Information is at the Contractor's cost. Additional or repeat tests ordered by the Supervisor are at the Employer's cost if the initial work was compliant.
If the test reveals non-conformance, the Employer's cost liability for additional testing shifts to the Contractor. Document the basis for each additional test.
