Defects — Notification
The Supervisor notifies the Contractor of each defect as soon as it is found. The notification describes the defect and its location.
Defect notifications are separate from general correspondence. They trigger the Contractor's obligation to correct within the defect correction period.
The Supervisor must be specific about the nature of the defect. Vague notifications such as 'work not in accordance' without specifying the non-conformance are difficult for the Contractor to address.
