Finality of Implemented CE Assessment
The assessment of an implemented compensation event is not revised except as stated in these conditions of contract. The only grounds for revision are correction of assumptions under 61.7 or other express provisions.
Once implemented, a CE assessment is final unless the PM made assumptions about the event's effects that later prove incorrect. This provides certainty for both Parties.
The bar for revising an implemented CE is very high. The Contractor should ensure the initial assessment is thorough and accurate before implementation, as revision is rarely permitted.
